Brand and marketing manager for an early-stage, open-source cybersecurity company, growing its users and its security network.

Brand & Marketing Manager2021 – 2022GrowthCommunityEvents

CrowdSec was an early-stage, open-source cybersecurity company with a strong product that lets users share malicious IPs with each other. The goal was to onboard as many new users as possible, both to confirm product-market fit and to build a stronger security network.

I owned the regional marketing strategy, from brand and positioning to acquisition and events, putting the company in front of its target audience: developers, CIOs and CSOs. I defined the positioning and storytelling for a highly technical product and built an integrated program across digital and events, aligned with sales priorities.

I supported the switch to a freemium model and the launch of new features, ran brand and acquisition campaigns that drove a 410% lift in website traffic, and built community through social media, Discord, webinars and merchandise. Speaking slots and stands across Riyadh, Las Vegas, Paris, Monaco and Canada turned events into pipeline, with 1,100+ leads.
